Guillaume Tiger is a composer and sound designer, multi-instrumentist and lecturer living in France. He studied audio for interactive medias at ENJMIN and owns a Ph.D. in informatics. In 2016 he joined IRCAM's Academy for the Manifeste Festival. His palette covers a wide range of practices from contemporary classical works to underground extreme music with a distinct, crafted in details, sound. His creations revolve around dronescapes, sound sculptures and field recordings to produce ever evolving noise starred pieces with a cinematographic touch, halfway between improvisation and thought structures. He has a special interest in music for movie / theater / interactive medias, sound spatialization and generative processes.
