La symphonie fantasmée is a deep exploration of Hector Berlioz' Symphonie fantastique. The intention behind this work is to revisit the musical themes and phrases through new transformations.
La symphonie fantasmée is an hybrid of the Romantic programme music and of the contemporary, cinematographic oriented, techniques of electronic creation. The meeting of these anachronic writing methods shades a new light on the emblematic composition and its dream-like, thematically timeless, soundscapes.
