SURFACE is a live piece created during lock down for the Quai de Bourbon hors-les-murs music programming. It was aired on P-Node's (De)confinement webradio Antivirus from 23:00 to 00:00, April 14 2020.

SURFACE was written from improvised sequences on a large metal plate. I used various bowing and mallet techniques, plus other less conventionnal manipulations to create the raw material which is then all layered to create evolving soundscapes.

This piece makes an extensive use of binaural spatialization to provide an immersive listening experience with headphones.
